Easily one of my favourite native birds, the diminutive Black Robin only survives in a handful of places – including Mokoia Island, a place of special significance for my family and me.
This was one of my ‘Spectrograph’ series, where the background & patterns are influenced by a visual representation of the bird’s particular call.
